Frequently asked questions
Where can I sell my bike in Jávea?
You can send Elite Bikes the details and photos of your bicycle for an initial appraisal. If it is suitable, bring it to our shop at Avenida de la Fontana 4, Jávea, where we inspect it and discuss the selling terms.
Does Elite Bikes buy my bike directly?
Our main service is selling suitable used bikes on the owner’s behalf rather than buying every bike directly. After inspecting it, we explain the available option and agree all terms before it is advertised.
How much does the service cost?
The sales commission depends on the bike and the work involved. The amount, your minimum return and any preparation costs are agreed before we start.
Can you guarantee that my bike will sell?
No. We can improve its presentation and put it in front of suitable buyers, but the time required and final outcome depend on the bike, condition, price and demand.
Do I need to bring the bike to the shop?
Yes. Photos help with an initial assessment, but we must inspect the bike in person before accepting it for sale.
What do I need to provide?
Please bring identification and any available purchase documents, manuals, charger, battery keys and relevant service history. The frame number must be clearly identifiable.
Can I sell an e-bike, mountain bike or road bike?
Yes. We consider quality e-bikes, e-MTBs, mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes and city bikes. Acceptance depends on condition, ownership, expected demand and whether the bike can be sold safely through our shop.
Can I contact you from Dénia, Moraira or elsewhere on the Costa Blanca?
Yes. The service is based at our shop in Jávea, but owners from Dénia, Moraira, Benitachell and other nearby Costa Blanca towns can send details and photos before bringing the bike in for inspection.
