Discover the quieter side of the Costa Blanca

This scenic E-MTB route leaves the coast behind and heads into the rolling landscape of the Marina Alta. Starting at Elite Bikes in Jávea, the loop travels through the countryside towards Teulada before continuing to Benissa and the small village of Senija.

The return passes through the rural surroundings of Gata de Gorgos and back towards Jávea. Along the way, the route mixes paved connections, country lanes, gravel and off-road sections, with wide views towards the surrounding mountains and valleys.

At 47.8 km with approximately 601 metres of climbing, this is a substantial but enjoyable e-MTB ride. It works especially well as a social group route because the electric assistance makes the rolling inland terrain accessible without removing the sense of adventure.

Can I rent an e-MTB for the ride?

Yes, subject to availability. An Elite Bikes rental e-MTB costs €65 per person and includes a helmet and bike lock. Reserve in advance because Sunday availability may be limited.

Is the guided Sunday ride free?

Participation in our community Sunday ride is free when you bring your own suitable e-MTB. The weekly route changes, so contact us to ask whether this scenic loop is planned. Rental bikes remain chargeable.

Will a fully charged battery be enough?

That depends on battery capacity, assistance level, rider weight, wind and battery condition. The route has around 601 metres of climbing, so start fully charged and make sure your expected range comfortably exceeds 48 km.

Can I follow the Komoot route independently?

You can review the public route, but you remain responsible for navigation, access restrictions, weather, traffic, trail conditions, equipment and personal safety. A mapped route does not guarantee that every section is currently open.
